Ingredients:-
All purpose flour(Maida) 1 3/4 cup
Thick Yogurt 1/2 cup
Baking soda 3/4 tsp
Baking Powder 1 tsp
powdered Sugar 1 cup(you can adjust according your taste)
Oil or butter 1/3 cup
warm water 1 cup
Lemon juice/ Vinegar 1 tablspn
Vanilla essence 1 1/2 tsp
Method:
*Preheat the oven to 180° C (350° F), line the bottom of a round 8 inch cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides.
1. Sift together all purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda(so they mix evenly).
2. In a Different bowl mix water, lemon juice(vinegar), vanilla essence and blend it for 2 min.
3.Mix all dry ingredients of statement 1 with liquid mixture of statement 2.
4. Now add oil in this mixture and blend again.
5. Now your cake batter is ready.
6.Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, and bake for 30 minutes for 170° C, or until cake tester comes out clean.
Tips:
Baking time may differ, based on the microwave brand. So be careful about this.
