INGREDIENTS (measuring cup used, 1 cup = 250 ml) · ½ cup maida or all purpose flour · 2 tblspn cocoa powder · 1/8 tsp baking powder · ½ tsp baking powder · 2 tblspn ghee or butter at room temperature · 2 tblspn + 2 tsp powdered sugar · ½ tsp vanilla essence · 1 tsp honey · 1 and ½ tblspn cold milk · Sugar for sprinkling INSTRUCTIONS 1. mix all ingredients - maida or all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, butter, honey, essence, milk . 2. mix well and make a soft dough. 3. Place a plastic sheet on work surface , sprinkle some flour and roll the dough into a large roti. Now cut in rectangle or square shape(as u wish). 4. Use a toothpick to prick all biscuits. Sprinkle some crystal sugar on top of each biscuits. 5. place the biscuites in a baking tray. 6. keep some space between them as they expand while baking. 7. bake them in a pre heated oven at 155 degrees C for 12-13 mins till the edges are toasted. 8. remove and place them on wire racks. 9. when cooled, store the biscuits in an air tight container. |
