Ingredients:
All purpose flour(Maida) 3/4 cup
Thick Yogurt 1/2 cup
Baking soda 1/4 tsp
Baking Powder 3/4 tsp
Sugar 1/2 cup(you can adjust according your taste)
Oil 1/4 cup
Vanilla essence 1 tsp
Method:
*Preheat the oven to 180° C (350° F), line the bottom of a round 6 or 8 inch cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides.
1.Blend sugar and yogurt until sugar dissolved.
2. Add baking powder and baking soda in mixture of sugar and curd.
3. Now leave this mixture for 5 minutes, after 5 minutes you can see some air bubbles in this.
4. In airy mixture(product of statement 3) add vanilla essence and oil and whisk it.
5. Now add flour, little by little.beat it for 3 minutes.
6. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, and bake for 10 minutes for 180° C, then reduce the temperature to 160° C for 25 minutes. or until cake tester comes out clean.
